MANUAL BLASTING BOOTH
Blasting booths are closed chamber where blasting operation is carried out through a nozzle which is connected with blasting hopper by means of a hose pipe and compressed air line. High pressure air with mixed abrasive media propelled at components surface to remove foreign particles, scale, rust and corrosion and to clean surface before applying paint coat.
Manual booth Blasting booths are mostly suitable for large and heavy components that are not uniform in sizes, having hidden and difficult to reach areas which cannot be blast cleaned in auto shot blasting machines. Except the cleaning process, abrasive recovery, recycling and other process are same as auto blasting machines.
Partial Recovery Blasting Booth
This type of blast room consists under floor screw conveyors/belt conveyers where the spent abrasive swept manually in screw conveyors/belt conveyor conveyed to the bottom of the bucket elevator which lifts it to the Air-wash/Separator system, here the abrasive is cleaned and this clean abrasive is feed into blast pot hopper for manual blasting.
Full Floor Recovery Blasting Booth
This type of blast booth consists of complete floor recovery conveyor system where all spent abrasive recovered through under floor recovery system (screw / belt conveyors) and conveyed to the bottom of the bucket elevator which lifts it to the Air-wash/Separator system, here the abrasive is cleaned and this clean abrasive is feed into blast pot hopper for manual blasting. These types of blast booth generally take less blast cleaning time.
